14. Januar 2008

Wow! There is only 6 days left until Obama's inauguration!
I am excited about it. Not because I think he can create miracles and save this country, but more about the fact that Bush's time is over. That man just got the US in a lot of trouble (and in a lot of debt).
Anyways, at school we will celebrate this day (not because they support Obama, but just the whole presidential system) and watch the inauguration live in an assembly. Interesting..

The las couple of days have been.. chill. School started again and another semester begins. And not just another, the second one, the last one. Suddenly I feel like I have SOOOO much stuff to do, and that there is no way I have enough time! I just can't realize that one semester has already gone by. It's crazy. But this experience has been and is absolutely amazing. I enjoy every single second of it!

But anyways, Carolina went back to St. Louis on Sunday, which means that it is only Steve, Agnes and me in the house. It sure is more quiet ;)
I still spend most my free time with LeighAnn.. And I read Twilight when she does college applications. Haha. Basically, we spend a lot of time together.

Last weekend, I went to Decatur to visit Alessandra. I went with the Marta! (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority - Atlanta's public transportation. So I went with Atlanta's metro basically) It really reminded me of Paris. A lot. I don't really know why.. But I enjoyed it a lot! I mean, I miss my dear S-toge and busses!
We spend the first night at her liason's house, and had a lot of fun. We watched Walt Disney's The Aristocats and Mama Mia!, ate popcorn and just had fun talking. The next day, we just hung out with some of her friends from school. It was fun to meet some other young people, than those from the fancy private schools in Buckhead.
I had a great time.

I got invited to the Dominican Republic for Spring break (last week of March/first of April) by LeighAnn and her family! We finally bought my plane ticket today! YAY!!! I'm so so so excited. It looks so amazingly beautiful! It'll be greatest thing ever. Especially when I will be there with the McKinleys! (LeighAnn's family)
- Tak til måtter for den finansielle støtte.

Well.. That's it.
I hope y'all are doing great!
